Review policy
Every review on this site comes from a verified buyer, and every genuine review is published — good or bad. This page sets out exactly how.

Where reviews come from
A review can only be written through a private link that Ewald emails after an order has been delivered. The link is tied to that specific order, so every review is from a verified buyer — there is no open review form, and no way to review a board you haven’t bought from us.
What we publish
Every genuine review is published, positive or negative — we check it’s from a real buyer and free of anything abusive or personal, then it goes up, whatever the rating. We don’t select the flattering ones or hide the critical ones. Ewald reads them all and often adds a reply of his own; that follows separately, and never holds a review back.
What we never do
- No paid or incentivised reviews. We never offer money, discounts, free products, or anything else in exchange for a review — not for a good one, not for any at all.
- No editing. A customer’s words are published verbatim. We never rewrite, trim, or polish them.
- No cherry-picked asking. Everyone who buys is invited to review, in the same way, regardless of how their order went.
- No fake reviews, ever. Writing or commissioning them is illegal in the UK (Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024) and against everything this workshop stands for.
When we remove a review
Only on narrow grounds: it’s abusive or defamatory, it’s unrelated to the product or the workshop, it contains personal information, or we have real cause to believe it isn’t genuine. When a review is removed it comes off the board’s rating straight away, and any reply Ewald had added is removed with it.
Your review
Want a review you wrote removed, or something in it corrected? Email studio@timbermere.com from the address you ordered with. Removals are done in full; corrections we handle case by case. Your review shows the display name you chose and the date — nothing else about you is published. See the privacy policy for how your data is handled.
