Are the boards in stock or made to order?
Every board is made ahead in small batches and listed with live availability; most ship from stock, dispatched within two working days. If a piece is made to order, its page says so — with the lead time — before you buy.
Which wood should I choose?
Oak is hard, close-grained and pale gold; walnut is deep chocolate brown and gentle on knife edges; cherry, beech, maple and purpleheart each bring their own colour and character. All six are dense hardwoods that stand up to daily use, so it is mostly a question of colour and feel — the woods guide covers each timber in detail.
