A broad dark walnut board with pale maple linework, a juice groove, side grips and a generous serving scale.
The Nightfall is a broad walnut board with pale maple linework crossing the face and wrapping the edge. It has the feel of a table piece as much as a working board: dark, generous and quietly graphic without covering the timber beneath.
At 4 cm thick and 3.45 kg, it has real presence on the counter. The juice groove, recessed grips, rounded edges and rubber feet keep it practical for prep, carving and serving. The long-grain construction gives a stable working face with a cleaner visual flow than an end-grain board.
A dark, temperamental timber - quiet under oil, dramatic under light.
A deep chocolate-brown hardwood that develops warmer, sometimes violet undertones when oiled. Black Walnut is slightly softer than oak, with a richer, more expressive grain that makes it especially suited to serving boards, bowls, and pieces meant to be looked at as well as used. Durable enough for regular use, but prized just as much for its depth, contrast, and the way it ages beautifully.
Pale, clean, and hard-wearing - the quiet standard for serious chopping boards.
A pale, creamy hardwood with a fine, even grain and a clean, understated character. Canadian Maple is hard, dense, and reliable, making it one of the classic choices for chopping boards, butcher blocks, and kitchen surfaces that see real daily use. Its light colour gives a crisp, modern feel, while the smooth grain keeps the focus on the shape and finish of the piece.
Wash by hand with mild soap. Towel dry. Re-oil every 6-8 weeks with food-safe oil.
