A weighty maple-and-oak edge-grain board with a broad working face, perimeter groove, softened corners, and a recessed side grip.

The Bramham is a substantial edge-grain board built from pale Canadian maple and European oak. Broad maple sections form the working face, held visually by a warmer oak perimeter; the long grain gives the surface a calm, linear structure. At 4 cm thick, it has the weight and room for daily prep, carving, or setting bread and cheese on the table.
A routed groove follows the face to catch juices and crumbs, while the recessed side grip makes the 3.8 kg board easier to lift from the worktop. Softened corners and a low-sheen finish keep it practical rather than showy. The two-timber contrast is restrained enough for everyday use, but distinct enough to leave out between meals.
Pale, clean, and hard-wearing - the quiet standard for serious chopping boards.
A pale, creamy hardwood with a fine, even grain and a clean, understated character. Canadian Maple is hard, dense, and reliable, making it one of the classic choices for chopping boards, butcher blocks, and kitchen surfaces that see real daily use. Its light colour gives a crisp, modern feel, while the smooth grain keeps the focus on the shape and finish of the piece.
Pale gold, open-grained, and built for work - the classic European bench timber.
A pale honey-gold hardwood that deepens beautifully with age and oil. European Oak is strong, open-grained, and famously durable, long used in furniture, joinery, beams, and hard-working surfaces across Europe. Best for chopping boards and pieces that need to feel solid, practical, and made for real everyday use.
Wash by hand with mild soap, then towel dry and stand on an edge until fully dry. Do not soak or place in a dishwasher. Re-oil with a food-safe board oil when the surface looks dry.
