A bold oak and walnut end-grain checkerboard with a juice groove, side grips, rubber feet and real table presence.
The Checkley is the most graphic board in this group: a bold oak and walnut end-grain checkerboard with enough weight for serious prep and enough presence for serving. The alternating blocks make the construction immediately readable without feeling overworked.
A juice groove frames the working face, with rounded edges, recessed side grips and rubber feet underneath. The end-grain surface is forgiving under a knife and suits chopping, carving and serving. It is a confident counter piece, but still built first as a working board.
Pale gold, open-grained, and built for work - the classic European bench timber.
A pale honey-gold hardwood that deepens beautifully with age and oil. European Oak is strong, open-grained, and famously durable, long used in furniture, joinery, beams, and hard-working surfaces across Europe. Best for chopping boards and pieces that need to feel solid, practical, and made for real everyday use.
A dark, temperamental timber - quiet under oil, dramatic under light.
A deep chocolate-brown hardwood that develops warmer, sometimes violet undertones when oiled. Black Walnut is slightly softer than oak, with a richer, more expressive grain that makes it especially suited to serving boards, bowls, and pieces meant to be looked at as well as used. Durable enough for regular use, but prized just as much for its depth, contrast, and the way it ages beautifully.
Wash by hand with mild soap. Towel dry. Re-oil every 6-8 weeks with food-safe oil.
