A dark walnut board with warm cherry contrast strips, a juice groove, side grips and a solid 4 cm profile.
The Hartley is a dark long-grain board with warm cherry contrast strips set into the face. The darker timber gives it a quieter, more evening-table character than the oak boards, while the lighter lines keep the shape crisp and readable.
The 4 cm profile gives it reassuring weight, and the juice groove, rounded edges, side grips and rubber feet make it practical as well as decorative. It is well suited to bread, cheese, fruit and daily prep where a darker board feels at home on the counter.
A dark, temperamental timber - quiet under oil, dramatic under light.
A deep chocolate-brown hardwood that develops warmer, sometimes violet undertones when oiled. Black Walnut is slightly softer than oak, with a richer, more expressive grain that makes it especially suited to serving boards, bowls, and pieces meant to be looked at as well as used. Durable enough for regular use, but prized just as much for its depth, contrast, and the way it ages beautifully.
Soft pinks, honey warmth, and a colour that only gets better with age.
A warm, reddish hardwood with a calm, refined grain that glows beautifully once oiled. American Cherry begins with soft pink, honey, and light brown tones, then gradually darkens into a richer amber-red patina with use and exposure to light. Softer than oak and maple, it is ideal for serving boards, bowls, and pieces that are as much about warmth and character as function. Ages gracefully.
Wash by hand with mild soap. Towel dry. Re-oil every 6-8 weeks with food-safe oil.
