About this piece
The Ripley is a set of six solid English ash coasters, each laser engraved with an illustrated Grandma, Grandad or grandparents design. The pale timber and open ash grain keep the set warm and tactile while allowing the dark engraved detail to read clearly.
Each coaster measures 10.5 x 10.5 cm and is 1 cm thick, with a supplied weight of 70 g. Together the six-piece set weighs approximately 0.42 kg and is finished to protect the timber in everyday table use.

Pale, lively and quietly architectural.
English ash is a pale, characterful hardwood with a strong linear grain and clearly drawn growth rings. Once oiled, its cream and straw tones deepen to warm honey, while occasional olive-brown streaks give each board its own rhythm. Hard, resilient and distinctly lighter in appearance than oak or walnut, it brings natural texture to a kitchen without feeling visually heavy.
Care instructions
Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth and dry promptly. Do not soak or place in a dishwasher. Refresh sparingly with food-safe board oil and wax when the ash begins to look dry.

We ship to Great Britain & Northern Ireland: a flat £9.97, added at checkout, and free on orders of £200 or more. Sent by Royal Mail 24 once dispatched — usually with you the next working day. Each piece is packed in a recycled card box. Made-to-order items can be returned within 14 days unless they've been used; bespoke commissions — and boards engraved with your wording — are non-returnable, though your rights on faulty goods are unaffected. Returns are easy — write to us first.
